Terms of Service

Effective 19 July 2026 · Last updated 19 July 2026

Terms Privacy Refund Policy

Short version

OfferPilots assists your application; you remain responsible for it.

Use the service lawfully, keep your account secure, review every AI-assisted output, and submit only information you are prepared to stand behind. OfferPilots does not guarantee ATS results, interviews, offers, sponsorship, or employment.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms apply to the OfferPilots web application and browser extension. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use OfferPilots for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

2. Service description

OfferPilots helps users capture job postings, maintain a reusable career profile, understand current-profile match and posting-based sponsorship context, tailor application documents, make grounded edits, and prepare for interviews. Features may change as the product develops.

Match information is an aid, not an employer assessment. Sponsorship information reflects wording found in the supplied posting and may remain unclear.

3. Account responsibilities

  • Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
  • Protect your password, authenticated session, and extension token.
  • Use one personal account unless OfferPilots expressly provides a team feature.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
  • Take responsibility for actions performed through your account.

4. AI-assisted output and review

AI-assisted parsing, generation, editing, and interview preparation can be incomplete or wrong. Provenance checks reduce unsupported claims but cannot replace your review. You must check every document and answer guide before using or submitting it, including names, dates, employers, metrics, skills, eligibility, and sponsorship statements.

Answer guides are rehearsal support, not scripts. Do not represent generated wording as personal experience unless it accurately reflects experience you can explain.

5. Browser extension and third-party sites

The browser extension acts on pages and profile information after user-triggered actions. You are responsible for complying with the terms of job boards, employer sites, LinkedIn, and other third-party services. OfferPilots does not control their availability, content, security, hiring process, or decisions.

Capturing a posting for personal application preparation does not grant permission to republish, resell, or build a separate database from third-party content.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use OfferPilots for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, discriminatory, or abusive conduct.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use or that violates another person's rights.
  • Submit fabricated qualifications, employment, credentials, metrics, or identity information.
  • Probe, bypass, overload, reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Extract or resell the service, prompts, models, job content, or another user's information.
  • Use automation to submit applications or interact with employers where OfferPilots has not provided that feature.

7. User content and generated output

You retain ownership of content you provide, subject to any rights held by third parties. You grant OfferPilots a limited permission to host, copy, process, transform, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service.

As between you and OfferPilots, you may use generated output for your own applications, subject to applicable law, these Terms, and third-party rights. AI systems can produce similar wording for different users, so output may not be unique.

8. Service ownership

OfferPilots retains rights in the application, extension, designs, software, prompts, documentation, and brand. These Terms do not transfer those rights or permit use of the OfferPilots name, mark, or product to imply endorsement.

9. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may be changed, suspended, limited, or discontinued, including during pre-launch testing. Maintenance, provider outages, third-party changes, and events outside reasonable control may interrupt access. Where practical, reasonable notice will be given for material planned changes.

Support is provided on a best-efforts basis by email only. There is no committed response time, resolution time, or support hours, and no telephone or live-chat support. Keep your own copy of important content: the profile page provides a "Back up to file" export, and you should not treat OfferPilots as the only place your career data lives.

10. No employment-outcome guarantee

OfferPilots does not guarantee résumé parsing, ATS ranking, interview invitations, visa sponsorship, job offers, compensation, or employment. Employers and third-party platforms make their own decisions. You remain responsible for application accuracy, submission, deadlines, communications, and professional advice you choose to obtain.

11. Warranties and liability

To the extent permitted by the law that applies to you, the service is provided without implied warranties beyond rights that cannot legally be excluded. OfferPilots is not responsible for an employer or third-party site's conduct, for decisions made from unreviewed output, or for indirect or consequential losses that applicable law permits the parties to exclude.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of OfferPilots and its operator for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100. Consumer rights vary by jurisdiction; nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Payments

Payments are not currently active. Pricing may describe planned tiers, but there is no live purchase flow and no subscription is created. Paid-plan billing, cancellation, and refund terms will be published and presented before any charge can be made.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using OfferPilots at any time. To delete the full account, email [email protected] from the account address; clearing the profile is not full-account deletion.

OfferPilots may restrict or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, unlawful use, prolonged service closure, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, notice and an opportunity to export available profile data will be provided.

14. Changes to these Terms

Revised Terms will be posted with a new effective date. If a material change requires consent, OfferPilots will request it before the change applies. Continued use after an otherwise valid effective date means the revised Terms apply.

15. Governing law, disputes, and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, where the service is operated. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. Before starting any formal step, please email us first — most issues can be resolved directly.

Contact [email protected] with questions, account issues, or formal notices.
